Meet Sarah “Sunny” Anderson, LCSW

I am pretty non-judgmental but I will tell you when I think you are messing up. I don't want to overcorrect because wisdom comes from within you. However, some correction is essential to growth. Therapy works best when one feels supported and gently challenged. My approach combines therapeutic models with mind-body approaches to help clients build insight and resilience. Together, we build coping skills, address trauma, and develop practical life skills. I work with adults, teens, couples, groups, co-parenting, and reunification work. I advise traditional and nontraditional relationships. I have much experience with neurodivergence.

I will provide feedback but I trust you to ultimately know what is best for you. I will guide you with a range of modalities including IFS, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and breathwork. I treat a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, avoidance, ADHD, PTSD, suicidality, personality disorders, and other complex diagnoses.

Finding the right fit of a therapist is essential to the effectiveness of therapy. Whether you are new to therapy or are looking for a change, chat with me today to see if we are a good fit. No matter where you’re starting from, we work together at a pace that feels both supportive and effective. You are the expert of your life and I support that.
